Shipping

Any order containing perishable products (e.g. caviar, smoked salmon, foie gras) will be shipped via FedEx Overnight, FedEx Home (1-day service),  UPS Next Day Air, or UPS Ground (1-day service).

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes under any circumstances.

Orders Containing Alcohol

You must be 21 years of age or older to receive a package containing alcohol. All packages sent out by OLMA containing alcohol will require an adult signature upon delivery. It is highly recommended that you provide us with a business shipping address for the best service. Customer comments on their order such as “Please leave on the back porch” or “Please leave at the front door” will be ignored! We will not be able to refund any charges if your package comes back to us because there was no adult to sign!

Insurance

All packages are being insured. Package insurance requires a signature for $500+ orders, please make sure to select the appropriate option on the checkout page. Contact us before your package is shipped if you will have issues accepting the delivery with the signature requirement.

Cut-off time

Orders must be placed before 3PM EST to be processed for next-day delivery. All orders received after 3PM will be processed the next business day. Changes or cancellations to orders must be placed at least 1 day in advance of the shipping date and must be made online at https://olmafood.com/contact.

Shipping Limitations

Due to shipping limitations, we are unable to ship packages for delivery on the following holidays or the day thereafter: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We are also unable to ship perishable goods for Monday deliveries.

Inspect your order

Please inspect all products the moment they arrive. If your shipment arrives tampered with or otherwise damaged, please contact FedEx or UPS and our customer service department immediately. Remember that the sooner you contact the carrier and our customer service department — the easier it will be to file a claim. And also remember to keep all packing and products exactly as they arrived.

Returns

All products are guaranteed to be fresh. However, they must be inspected immediately upon arrival—as credit will NOT be granted if unsatisfactory items are discarded or consumed (even partially). If you want to return any item, please keep all packaging intact. Also, all return claims must be made within 24 hrs of shipment receipt. At that time, a return authorization code will be issued. Once we receive and accept the claim, we will automatically resend the merchandise. Please note: returns will not be accepted without a return authorization code.

For claims made within 24 hrs of shipment receipt, we accept returns of all unopened items for a full refund minus any shipping fees. Unless for OLMA’s fault or the unsatisfied condition of the product, the buyer is responsible for any return shipping costs.
