When preparing your blinis, it is best to heat them in an oven or a toaster for approximately 4-6 minutes (varies based on if the blinis are frozen or thawed out). Once the blinis begin to change into a golden crispy color, they are ready. Remove them and place them in a warm covered bowl or breadbasket. Now here is where taste dictates, as many people enjoy placing the caviar atop the blini while it is still warm and eating it almost immediately – while others prefer to let the blini cool and then place caviar (and perhaps creme fraiche) atop the blini. With sixteen in a pack, there is plenty of room for experimentation, so be sure to try it both ways!

The small selections of caviar and the blinis were the perfect accompaniment for our party during this pandemic.

These bellinis are delicious 😉 and an extra treat. They’re a little bit sweet and fluffy, which I personally don’t like with my caviar, so I eat them 4 at a time for breakfast with a generous dollop of the creme fraiche, topped with berries. Perfect!
